Angelo Passarella - "Angie"
Angelo began to play guitar when he was 11 years old. After a variety of musical experiences,
he joined the band Clessidra as their guitarist. Produced by Pressing BMG the band released the albums Sistema Solare in 1997 and Combinazioni in 1998. With Clessidra Angie participated in Lucio Dallas Canzoni tour.
In 1999 he recorded the guitars on the songs "La" and "What a beatiful day" on the album Ciao by Lucio Dalla (Pressing BMG).
In the spring/summer of 1999 Angie played on Paola Turci's summer tour.
In 2000 he recorded the guitars on the songs "Chamaleon", "Upside Down" and "Asiles Word" by Elisa, on the album Asiles Word
(2000 Sugar-Universal).
In 2001 Angie composed the song "Echo" for the AA-VV The chill out experience compilation in the Cafee Prive.. collection (2001 Halidon).
In 2002 he recorded the guitars on the song "Oceano" which Lisa performed at the Big del Festival di Sanremo 2003. In the same year, Angie collaborated on the production of a young American artist, Alana Grace.
2003 was also the start of Angies collaboration with MusicAcademy2000 the only Italian branch of the Los Angeles Music Academy part of the English Middlesex University where he is still a teacher today.
In the same year he recorded the guitars for the US version of "Oceano" performed by the American artist Josh Groban on the album Closer (2003 Warner Music USA) with over 6 million copies sold in the USA.
In 2004 Angie recorded the guitars on "Dell' amore non si sa" by Andrea Bocelli on the album Andrea (2004 Sugar Universal).
In 2005 he created the music for the advertisement for Confimp management, and in the same year his song "Exodo" was included on the AA-V La Isla Blanca Compilation (2005 Halidon).
In 2005 the New Zealand artist Hayley Westenra, who performed the song "May it be" on the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings, released the album Odyssey, on which Angie played the guitars for Oceano U.K. version (2005 Decca-Universal).
In February of 2006 Angie was contacted by Rai Radio1 for his song "Underworld", which was aired and voted on by the public. Again in 2006 Angie recorded the guitars on Luisa Cottifogli's (lead singer of Quintorigo) solo album Lu Rumi (2006 Forrest Hill Records). In 2006 his song "Exodo" was transmitted by Radio Monte Carlo (Rmc NetWork) from May to November by DJ Marco Fullone.
In 2007 Angie composed the music for 13 episodes of a television program about About Business.
Currently, some international radio stations like LastFm (UK) and .CyberWorldcafe Channel (FR) and Radio Monte Carlo Network program and include some of Angies songs on their play lists. In addition, Angie is promoting his album A Moment Beyond, which includes acoustic, instrumental songs with Electronic and New Age atmospheres. After listening to Angies CD, the founder of Windham Hill Records (USA) William Ackerman (winner of a Grammy Award in 2004 for best New Age album) expressed great appreciation of Angies high level of composition and style.
Right now he is writing music for the SKY TELEVISION
and is building his new ALBUM..
